Yudhoyono orders makeshift houses in Wasior

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has ordered central and local governments to immediately construct makeshift houses for survivors of Wasior flash floods in West Papua.

“I urge for an immediate planning of rehabilitation and reconstruction to build decent makeshift houses (in Wasior),” the President told reporters Friday at Rendani airport in Manokwari after his visit to Wasior, as quoted by Kompas.com.

Yudhoyono hoped that the construction project would involve local residents.
